Hey friends!

I've been a bit quiet on the blog lately, mainly due to summertime activities and being at the lake and on holiday. It has been so nice to have some family time as this is the first summer my husband has taken holidays! We just got back from Minneapolis which I will blog about soon!

I wanted to share one of my favourite summer appetizers that my family makes at the lake. This is a serious to-die-for Brie Cheese Appetizer that is simple, yet elegant to serve. What you may not expect about this appetizer is that it is made on the barbeque! If you have time you can pre-soak a cedar plank and then put the Brie Cheese onto it as it gives it a nice added flavour when barbequeing.

What you'll need:

1 round Brie

1 nectarine

1/2 cup blueberries

Fresh basil

Rosemary

First, we finely chop some basil and rosemary, and cover the top of the Brie with the herbs. Then we chop a nectarine and add that on top of the herbs. And lastly we add blueberries to the top of it. The combination of these ingredients with the cheese will satisfy your palate and have you coming back for more! You then put it on the barbeque on low temperature and it will slowly melt (about 10-15 minutes, until it's soft to the touch) And then voila! Once it's finished, serve with crackers (we love the Mary's crackers and beet crackers both from Costco).

You'll have to excuse the photos because I was waaay too excited to dig into the cheese I didn't take many pictures along the way haha!

Enjoy!

Love,

Lindsay
