Third Trimester Feels

It is so crazy to think one day you have a little one inside you and the next day they are here! It's such a surreal experience and with each pregnancy I'm amazed at what our bodies our capable of! Knowing this is our last little one made me even more emotional and I soaked up every kick and wiggle that went on. The kids would put their hands on my tummy and feel for baby's ninja kicks. I loved that Riley and Brynn were so into it and asked so many questions about baby. Also, would give us name suggestions on the daily. Brynn suggested Melvin even after we told her over and over that it's a girl haha! Riley would suggest any girl's name from his class. We had the hardest time picking a name this time around! There's a name app that will match your "likes" and you swipe left or right depending if you like a name and Scott and I literally had no matches haha! (It didn't help that at first I was swiping the wrong way hehe)
It took a bit of convincing to take some pictures before baby came, but alas Scott was convinced (or maybe he just didn't want me to cry and get more emotional than I already was ;) ) I didn't do maternity pictures with all of my kids, but really wanted to capture this last pregnancy and time as a family of 5. The kids were beyond excited to meet the baby and asked me everyday in the final month if she was coming. I think they felt like she had been in my tummy forever haha! I totally thought she would come early as room was quickly running out in my tummy, but each week passed and she came when she was ready!
Things I loved and will truly miss about pregnancy (not the nausea!):
-hearing the heartbeat
-the amazing changes your body goes through
-seeing the ultrasound!
-the anticipation of meeting baby
-the fruit/veggie comparisons as to how big baby is. Riley and Brynn thought this was so cool and asked me every week how big baby was!
-those kicks and movement from babe!
-maternity clothes - comfiest pants everrrr
-I'm a weirdo and actually get excited for labour and delivery
Now onto some pics! We took these on a very chilly day in the beginning of November at 36 weeks! Our photographer Luci was fantastic and totally didn't mind the kids running around. She was so great at getting them to smile and be still for 0.01 seconds. I can only imagine how much harder it will be getting a picture as a family of 6!
