Hey friends!
So I'm a little late on Hallie's 4 month update but here is the latest! She just had her 4 month doctors appointment, and before each appointment Scott and I always try and guess her weight see who's closer. I know we could just go on the scale with her, but it's fun not knowing! She's 12 pounds 10 ounces (I was surprisingly the closer guess! haha)
She now rolls over both ways, and if you lay her down on her back she flips over so fast. Thankfully she doesn't mind being on her tummy. Her sister has a habit of picking up Hallie off of her playmat and carrying her to me which has been a bit scary. She just wants to help take care of her which is really sweet. Riley is a great big brother and since he is older and bigger, he is able to hold her and gently sways with her. It is so sweet to watch!

Sleep
The past 2 weeks she has been going to sleep at 7:30pm and will wake up once between 4:30 and 5:30. Then she will go back to sleep until 9 or 9:30am. Overall she is a really easy baby to put to sleep and still loves to be swaddled or in her sleep sack. I've been on the hunt for the next size up in the Love to Dream sleep sack because she will soon be needing it!
During the day she is awake for 1.5 hours between naps, and she has become a lot better at napping in the car (yay!). This makes it so much easier to travel in the car with her and to not have to worry about her crying and getting upset in her carseat.
She went through a phase for a couple weeks where she didn't want to take a bottle. I had asked on instastories for advice with getting Hallie to take a bottle and I had received so much encouragement and suggestions! We kept trying everyday and I would try in between feeds, and eventually she took it again! She doesn't like faster flowing bottle nipples so once we found one that worked we stuck with it!
Firsts
Hallie went on her first boat ride and fell fast asleep on the boat. She rolls over both ways now and can slowly move a few feet by continuously rolling. She now sits in the bumbo and we put it on the table so she can sit with us when we eat.
She loves smiling and "chatting" to you when you talk and sing to her. She let out her first little adorable giggle and we can't wait to hear more!
