October Things I'm Loving!

Hey!

I feel like it's been awhile, which it probably has. I caught a nasty virus that took me over a week to regain my voice and energy back, but I feel SO much better!! I forgot how pregnancy and sickness don't mix well haha! This month has flown by - anyone else feel that way? In one month we went from +20 celcius to -10 and snow! All the winter jackets are out and have seen some action already. Riley loves the snow, and Brynn is eating it every chance she gets (insert me gagging lol). It's so funny to watch them jump up at the chance to shovel snow - I hope this never changes!

Halloween was really fun! Scott was out of town for work so my mom came with me to help with the kids! Having candy in the house is not great - self control hasn't been happening in the evenings haha!

Anyways, I'm getting sidetracked here as pregnancy brain is taking over! This month I've found some new products that I'm loving and thought I'd share them with you!

The first is this hair turban from Norwex! I love a lot of Norwex products and could probably go on about them for a long time but I'll focus on this one product. I was at a Norwex party about a month ago and this hair turban was introduced to me. After washing your hair, you simply pop this over your head and then twist the top, and bring it to the back where there's a button to secure it. It's so lightweight, unlike a towel on your head, and it cuts the drying time down SO much!! Seriously, such a game changer and is great for any hair types or lengths.

I seem to have a lot of hair products I"m loving lately! Winter is when I find my hair and skin so dry, so trying to put as much moisture into them and drink a ton of water really helps!

The next product is a dry shampoo that's also texturizing and smells amazing! This Batiste spray doesn't show up white in your hair like some dry shampoos and it isn't heavy or sticky feeling! I usually go 3 days before washing my hair and this helps extend the time I can go between washes!

The next product I used to use and just forgot about it! It's the It's a 10 Miracle leave-in product. I just spray this after my hair is towel dried and still damp and brush it through and it leaves it so soft, smells sooooo good and helps control frizz, especially if using a hair dryer. I even spray this in Brynn's hair because it makes brushing it so much easier!

One kid's product I've been loving is a Wet Brush for kids! I have the adult size and didn't know they make kids size in this brush and it seriously is the best brush and getting tangles out. I believe my mother in law picked it up in the states but I'm sure you can get it here as well. Brynn really dislikes me touching her hair, but with this brush she actually sits still for a few seconds for me to run it through and she can use it by herself as well! I can see this being really handy for when we travel too!
